SETN INNOVATION GRANT (SIG)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) often have ideas to develop or improve products, processes or services, but lack the ‘pump priming’ resources for early stage development. SETN Innovation Grants (SIGs) offer our members the opportunity to engage in early stage R&D enabling projects to lead to larger investments in R&D.

Eligibility
The scheme is open to Scottish SMEs who are members of SETN.

What's on offer?
SETN is able to offer a grant of up to £5k which may be a maximum of 50% of the total eligible costs. The remainder of the project costs may be an in-kind or financial contribution from the company. Applications for SIGs are welcomed for technology-based projects across all areas of the Environmental and Clean Technology (ECT) sector.

Applying for a SIG is easy:
1. In the first instance contact SETN Project Coordinator Colin Patterson to discuss your idea and receive an application pack.
2. Complete the simple SIG application form which we will check and send to two independent reviewers.
3. You will be notified of the outcome and successful applicants should be in receipt of their grant within three weeks of applying.
