Internships A core element of our support for Scottish ECT businesses is the provision of internships, which have proven invaluable to SETN member companies in providing cost effective methods for them to undertake R&D projects. We welcome applications from students looking for internships lasting between 3 and 6 months. |
Benefits for companies Time, money and not having access to the right facilities are all barriers to undertaking R&D projects. Offering an internship is one option and SETN's model is to offer to host the intern and provide access to the facilities. |
Benefits for students Visiting students have the opportunity to gain skills and experience working on commercially relevant projects. SETN is located in the heart of Glasgow at the third largest university in Scotland. The University of Strathclyde is a vibrant, international place to work and study with over 16,000 full-time students from 100 countries and over 3,000 full-time equivalent staff. |
