Lack of access
to laboratory facilities and technical expertise can be a key barrier
to growth for SMEs in the Environmental and Clean Technology (ECT)
sector. However, member companies can take advantage of SETN's considerable in-house laboratory facilities, | providing capabilities across a wide range of environmental matrices including soils, waters, wastes and other
materials. These include GC-FID, GC-MS, ICP-OES, HPLC and IC. SETN can also offer space to
undertake bench scale trials in our environmental laboratory. | Support
is given to undertake field trials e.g. finding suitable sites,
experimental design, setting data quality objectives, testing and
interpretation of results. |
