Eligibility for Membership in the SETN
Membership in the SETN is primarily offered to Scottish small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), though some exceptions are made for larger enterprises that collaborate with SMEs. We follow the EU guidelines for defining SMEs.
By Scottish we mean companies that are wholly Scottish or international companies that have an office in Scotland and a significant level of operations here. Stakeholder membership is offered to other networks with whom SETN cooperates, to Scottish Local Authorities, and to Departments and Research Institutes belonging to the Scottish knowledge base.
Membership is not personal, it is corporate. Membership may be annulled at the discretion of the SETN. The decision of the SETN advisory board in such matters is final.
